BeagleBone Black Wireless, Embedded Linux Conference, and GSoC 2017 mentors

We debuted the BeagleBone Black Wireless last Fall at Maker Faire New York, and it is available for purchase through our distributors. This is our first board to use the Octavo System-in-Package (SiP) and was designed in EAGLE. The Black Wireless is manufactured by our partner GHI Electronics in Michigan (USA)

The Embedded Linux Conference 2017 is next month in Portland. Jason Kridner will give a talk on Educational Robotics Critical for the Future of Linux. Drew Fustini will talk about Google Summer of Code and BeagleBoard.org

The planning for Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2017 is now underway. We are looking for experienced individuals who are interested in acting as student mentors. Please check out our wiki page for details.
