Great Teaching Ideas Can Receive a Lab of PocketBeagle� boards

Let's Educate!
We are announcing a new program as part of our continued commitment to education in the use of open-source software and hardware. Educators in schools can apply for the opportunity to receive up to 30 PocketBeagle� boards from the BeagleBoard.org� Foundation. The donation of the boards will further project development in the classroom or makerspace. To participate in this opportunity submit a project idea to our online education project form. We look forward to hearing more about your ideas for using PocketBeagle� in the classroom.

10 Year Anniversary Classic Project - The Descriptive Camera

Back in 2012, this camera took the budding idea of crowdsourcing metadata about a picture to an embedded platform. With features of a regular camera it produces an image using Amazon Mechanical Turk API for a text description output of the scene.
