Multi-purpose Expansion Board

Multi-purpose Beagle/BeagleXM/Beaglebone expansion boards.

A plug in daughter/base board for both the standard Beagleboard and the xM Beagleboard. The purpose of this board is to provide an easy interface to generic LCD/TFT displays. In addition, to bring out level shifted OMAP SPI and i2c interfaces. There is an onboard Microchip dsPIC30F6014A (tm) processor that communicates with the OMAP via the OMAP's SPI3.0 port. This project has now grown to include the Beaglebone with a similar expansion board (cape) which uses the Microchip PIC32MX150 as the support chip on the expansion board. The following displays have been configured and tested: Newhaven 3.5 inch 320x240, Optrex 3.5 inch 320x240 and the Optrex 5 inch 800x480.
